The Duolingo App provides customization options for language selection, learning pace setting, avatar personalization, and notification settings.

How to Add A Profile Pic on Duolingo
As mentioned above, Duolingo does not allow users to add profile pictures using its app or web version.
If you want to change and customize your Duolingo avatar, you will have to follow the steps written below:
- Launch the Duolingo App on your phone and tap on the profile icon at the bottom of the welcome screen.
- At the top right corner of the profile screen, click on Settings (gear icon) as shown in the below image.

- When you do so, you will be shown your account details.
- Now, tap on the Change Avatar option.

- Choose an Avatar of your choice.
- You can customize your Body, Skin Tone, eye color, Hair color, Glasses color, Facial hair, Headware, Clothing color, and background color.
- After customization tap on the “DONE” option at the top right corner, and then tap on ‘SAVE’ to accept changes.
- You will notice that your avatar has changed finally.
- That’s it.

Uploading a profile picture or taking a picture from a camera and applying as a profile is not available in Duolingo.
