This helps learners remember things easily by decreasing the learning time. Notably, Anki allows learners to do Sentence Mining and create Flashcards from streaming platforms like YouTube, Netflix, and others.
To do sentence mining and create Flashcards, you need to use the browser extension called Migaku.
For that, you need to connect the Migaku extension with Anki.

Connecting Migaku With Anki
To connect Migaku with Anki, follow the steps mentioned below:
Step 1: Install the Migaku Extension
First, you need to install the Migaku Extension on your web browser. To do so, use the steps mentioned below:
- Open the Chrome Browser.
- Go to the Chrome Web Store.
- Here, use the search feature and search for Immerse With Migaku.
- This will show you the Migaku extension.
- Once you find the extension, click on the “Add to Chrome” button.
- A pop-up window will appear, on this window, click “Add Extension”.
- This will start installing the Migaku Extension on your web browser.
- Once installation is completed, click on the Extension Icon at the top.
- From the list of extensions find Migaku and pin it.

- Once done, click on the extension icon and select Login.
- Enter log in with your Migaku account or create one if you don’t have one.
- After logging into your account, click on the Migaku Extension icon once again and click on the Settings icon.

- Now, select the language you want to learn and complete the setup.
- That’s it.
Step 2: Connect Migaku With Anki
To connect the Migaku Extension to the Anki Software, you need to install the Mingaku Add-On on Anki.
To do so, use the steps mentioned below:
- Open your web browser and go to https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1846879528.
- This will lead you to the official website of Mingaku Andki Add-On.
- On this website, scroll down and look for the code.
- After finding the code, copy it.
- Now, launch the Anki Software.
- Go to Tools > Add-ons.
- This will open a window where select “Get Add-ons…”.
- Next, paste the code that you just copied into the text box.
- Once pasted, click OK.
- This will start installing the Mingaku Add-On on Anki.
- Wait for the installation process to be completed.
- Once the installation is completed, minimize the Anki Software and make sure it is running in the background.
- Open a new tab and go to the website or video on YouTube or Netflix from which you want to create Flashcards.
- Next, click on the Mingaku Extension icon from the pin bar and enable it.
- Once you do so, it will automatically connect with Anki.
