How to Enable Animations On Duolingo
Before I explain how to use animations on Duolingo, let me tell you that the process of turning on Animations on Mobile and PC is different.

On Duolingo App
To turn on animation on the Duolingo app, follow the steps written below:
- First, open the Duolingo app.
- Make sure you are logged into your account.
- Once logged in, go to the Home screen.
- Here, tap on the Avatar icon at the bottom of your screen.
- Inside the Avatar menu, click on the Gear Icon at the top right corner.

- This will open the app Settings.
- Now, tap on the ‘Preferences‘ option.

- When you do so, you will be shown multiple options.
- Now, tap on the toggle button next to Animations as shown in the above image.

- Once enabled, go back to the Settings window and click on the Done option.

- When you click on it, the Settings will be saved.
- That’s it.
If the animation option is already enabled then try disabling and enabling it again.

On Web Browser
If you are using the web version of Duolingo, you can use the following steps to turn on Animation.
- First, open your web browser.
- Then go to https://www.duolingo.com/
- After visiting the site, click on the “I Already Have An Account” option if you have a Duolingo account.
- If you don’t have a Duolingo account, click “Get Started”.
- Now, enter all the details and log in to your account.
- Once you are logged in, click on the MORE option from the left side.
- From the drop-down options, choose Settings.

- This will open the account settings where look for the Animations option.
- Once you find this option, click on the Toggle Button next to it to enable animation.

- Now, click on the Save option at the top to save and apply the changes.
- That’s it.
How to Use Animations in Duolingo?
Once you have successfully enabled the Animations on Duolingo, you will be able to send animations.
To send animations in the chat or comment, click on the Text Box and you will see the Animations icon next to the text box.
Click on that Animation icon and you will see the list of animations.
Now, choose any animation you want and then click Send. Once you do that, the selected animation will be sent in the chat or comment.
