Due to the XP Boost, you can earn 10 XP for completing your lesson, and 5 XP for a full combo bonus, multiplied by 2 = 30 XP.
However, if you complete the last lesson of a level when the Boost is active you gain 50 XP: 20 XP for completing the lesson, and 5 XP for a full combo bonus, multiplied by 2.
Notably, XP Boost is not applied to stories or audio lessons.

How To Unlock XP Boosts On Duolingo
Here are a few simple steps to unlock XP Boosts:
Complete a crown level and on earning a crown, you’ll also win an XP Boost. If you skip a lesson and earn a crown, you won’t unlock an XP Boost.
When you unlock the XP Boost on completing a level, it will be active for 15 minutes use it as soon as possible.
Or you can start lessons on Duolingo as early as possible. One should complete the lessons by midday to earn the Early Bird Reward XP Boost.
This boost will unlock around 6 pm and you can claim it on the same day.
Another way to get an XP Boost is with a Practice Hub where you earn one XP Boost per week.

Here are some of the best methods to earn Double XP or XP Boost:
Earn A Crown
You can earn XP Boost (Double XP) by completing a crown level. When you do so, you will receive the XP boost for the first crown.
To earn another, you need to wait till the boot expires. You will then be able to earn another crown and unlock another.
But one must complete the level and as soon as you do so a message confirming your boost will pop up and the boost will be active for 15 minutes.
Early Bird Reward
Another method to earn an XP Boost is to complete lessons on mobile between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m.
The Early Bird reward will give you 15 minutes of double XP. It can be used by you between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m
Complete a Duolingo exercise between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. It will give you the Night Owl boost which can be used between 6 a.m. and 12 p.m.
One can also combine Early Bird and Night Owl and earn more XP.

Practice Hub
Double XP through the Practice Hub but it is a new feature and not available to many. You can earn one XP Boost per week on completing the challenges.
Attending Duolingo Events
Duolingo Event is like having a Skype video chat with other people who want to learn languages together.

There are many different types of Duolingo events, ranging from general chat sessions to trivia games and more.
You’ll earn 250 double XP boosts for each Duolingo Event attended by you.
Friend Quests
Every Tuesday through Saturday, Duolingo pairs you with a friend for a Friend Quest from Tuesday to Saturday on its completion you gain a 30-minute XP Boost.

XP Ramp-Up Challenges
The new Duolingo update has introduced a new feature called “XP Ramp-Up Challenges.”
It allows the players to complete challenges within the Duolingo app league tab.
Log in and check the list of challenges on the League tab. Select the challenge and answer a few questions about yourself.

On passing the test, you receive points equal to your rank which is then multiplied by 10.

Repeating Easy Lessons
