Duolingo is popularly known to learn foreign languages but it does offer a bunch of other courses that people love the most.
Besides language courses, Duolingo offers Music, Math, and Speaking Exercise courses on its platforms.
In this post, we will talk about the Speaking Exercise course and how to enable it on Duolingo.
Before I explain how to enable it, let me tell you that this course was launched to help learners improve their pronunciation skills in the desired language.

All you need to do is enable it. Once enabled, you can start your communication or pronunciation practice by tapping on the microphone icon.
Unfortunately, many don’t know how to turn on the Speaking Exercises on Duolingo. If you too are one of those users then don’t worry because we got you covered.

How to Turn On Speaking Exercises In Duolingo
To enable the Speaking Exercises features in Duolingo, follow the steps written below.
Enable Speaking Exercises On Duolingo App
Use the following steps to enable the Speaking Exercises on the Duolingo app.
- Open the Duolingo app.
- After that, log into Duolingo.
- Tap on the Profile Icon at the bottom.
- Now, tap on the Gear Icon located at the top of the Profile window.
- Under settings, scroll down until you find the Accessibility section.
- Under this section, you will find the Speaking Exercises option.
- Once you find this option, tap on the toggle button to enable it.
- That’s it.

Enable Speaking Exercises On Duolingo Web
If you are using the web version of Duolingo then use the following steps to enable the Speaking Exercises option.
- First, open a web browser and visit duolingo.com.
- Once logged in, click on the “More” option from the left side of the page.
- From the appearing menu, select “Settings”.
- Under the settings window, look for the “Speaking Exercises” option.
- Once found, click on the toggle button in front of it to enable it.
- That’s it.
NOTE: Unfortunately, Duolingo has removed the Speaking Exercises option from its platform.
The method we mentioned above is no longer working.
Since this feature is still in demand, chances are high that they will bring it back. As soon as they launch it, we will update this post.
