Duolingo Stories Not Showing Problem Fix (2026)

Duolingo Stories is one of the best features as it lets you practice everything you have learned so far.

However, it is not available in all language courses. It is also possible to fix the issue with a different device or browser as Duolingo Stories are working fine with some browsers but not with others.

Another reason for not seeing the Dulingo Stories option could be the update.

Duolingo Stories were earlier available in a separate tab, and users could easily unlock them as soon as they earned 10 crowns in the tree.

However, with Duolingo’s new learning path update, you do not need any crowns to open stories on Duolingo.

It has been moved under your course path and when you complete your units and the lessons, you will get these stories in them.

Learners can get their first story after completing just a few levels or it may take time as it all depends on the language course you have taken.

A book icon in a circle seen in a unit is the Duolingo story.

The course content varies as some courses may have more stories while some may have fewer.

However, the exercises will be the same in each.

The difficulty level will also increase with more of the course you have covered.

The stories will also be more in your target language and less in the language you are comfortable with.
