Restarting A Course on Duolingo
The Duolingo App does not provide the reset feature. You have to use the web version to reset or restart the course.
Follow the instructions below to restart/ reset a course on Duolingo:
- Open the website https://www.duolingo.com/ in your browser and log in with your email and password.
- Now, open the address https://www.duolingo.com/settings/courses in another tab.
- When you do so, you will find a list of all enrolled courses (languages).
- To restart a Duolingo Course, tap on the ‘RESET‘ option.

- When you tap on it, a confirmation window will appear.
- Now, tap on the RESET button.
- The language will be removed from the courses.
- Now you can enroll or add the language again to start learning from the beginning.
